Recent and Current
Since leaving the motion picture industry as a Director of Photography in 2007 when I relocated to Vietnam for a research project, the work I have done can be divided into three areas. The first has been the continuing development of my photography practice through an evolving collection of portfolios exploring varying iterations in portraiture in particular. Secondly, I remain a committed cinematographer both in my own moving image practice and in collaboration with other select artists and directors. The third area I devote time to is the series of long term, intensive critique-based photography and film workshops I created beginning in 2013. I remain active in all three areas – developing personal bodies of work, shooting films with artists and clients, and assisting a coming generation of image makers find their own practice.
